Lesson Program Information

Being around horses is healing to the mind, body, and spirit. And learning how to communicate with them using body language can create personal breakthroughs.

Whether you’re experiencing horses for the first time, or you’re returning to horseback riding after several years, riding lessons at the Cadence barnyard provide a unique opportunity for individuals of all ages to develop skills as a rider while becoming a well-rounded horse person.

Students of our lesson program receive instruction in both groundwork and mounted riding. From grooming, leading and tying to ride prep and mounting, and various riding skills including the walk, trot and canter, lessons cover all facets of horsemanship with students advancing at their own pace to achieve personal riding goals.

Our lesson program runs September through May annually, taking a break for summer camp programs during the summer months.

Lesson Interest Form

*** Completion of this form does not register your child, nor guarantee your child a place in our lesson program. Rather, it places you on a list to receive information when lesson registration becomes available. *Priority registration is given to lesson students from the prior season.***

We'll begin contacting families regarding lesson availability and scheduling in August.

Own or lease your own horse? We have lessons designed for you too. Contact us for additional information and pricing.
