Lesson Program Information

Cadence Horsemanship offers programs focused on horsemanship and riding skills. We offer the following lesson options for students riding/handling a Cadence Horsemanship horse:

  • 30 Minute Private Lesson ($40 Beginner Only) – This lesson is for students who  cannot groom, tack or mount their horse without support and assistance. The  student’s horse will be groomed and tacked upon the student’s arrival. Ride time is  approximately 20-25 minutes. Pricing is per student.

  • 60 Minute Semi-Private Lesson ($45 Novice-Advanced, $50 Beginner) – Students  begin by grooming and tacking their horse, ride for approximately 30-40 minutes,  and end by untacking their horse. Students may also be asked to rinse down their  horse and assist with other barn chores as needed. Semi-Private Lessons may include  up to 4 students and are grouped based on instructor evaluation of skill. Pricing is  per student.

  • 60 Minute Private Lesson ($55 Novice-Advanced) – Students begin by grooming and  tacking their horse, ride for approximately 30-40 minutes, and end by untacking their  horse. Students may also be asked to rinse down their horse and assist with other  barn chores as needed. These lessons are intended to focus on a specific problem  area of one student scheduled as needed and are not a replacement for ongoing  semi-private instruction.

  • 30 Minute Horsemanship Lesson ($40) – This is a non-riding lesson focused on an  area of Horsemanship. This may include working with a horse practicing groundwork  or may be focused on other interest areas such as nutrition, health and wellness,  barn management, etc.
